Hi Mr. Hadley ...
I stumbled upon your website recently, and
really enjoyed looking at the old photos. Although
many of them were taken when I was a mere tot, or even before I was born in some cases, I really enjoyed
browsing through all of them. I recognize quite a few
people, but I was pleasantly surprised to catch a
glimpse of my dad in the background of one of the
carnival photos. I thought you might want to update
the caption for future reference.
My dad, Noel Kirton, is the handsome chap on the left,
with the water bottle over his shoulder. I remember
that "water bottle" very well.
Keep up the excellent work. Your site is enjoyable and
very informative. Plus it's a really great historical
artifact for generations to come.
